Baseball Recap: The Daniel Academy Comes Up Short

The Daniel Academy lost against Christ Prep Academy on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Patriots, falling 21-6. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Noah Maldonado made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for The Daniel Academy: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Conner Young, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

The Daniel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Christ Prep Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

The Daniel Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christ Prep Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Kansas City East Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
