Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prout). Everything went their way against the Rogers Vikings on Thursday as they made off with a 9-1 victory. Prout have beaten Rogers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Rogers has come to flipping the script.

Prout hit Rogers with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ryan Samponaro (4), Dylan Couto (3), and Cameron Randall (2).

Prout's win bumped their record up to 4-0-2. As for Rogers, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Prout is set to challenge their familiar foe Blackstone Valley Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rogers will face off against rival Middletown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
