The Fort Meade Miners will square off against the Trenton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Fort Meade is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over Marathon. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Miners.

Zachary Brooks was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Lucas De Amicis was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Harrell, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Fort Meade always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marathon only posted an OBP of .304.
Meanwhile, Trenton waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They beat the Indians by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-4. Considering the Tigers have won 14 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Mason VunCannon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). VunCannon was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ty Moses, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Jordan Marlo was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Trenton's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Fort Meade, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.
