Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Trojans vs. Keller Central Chargers

The Trinity Trojans will head out to take on the Keller Central Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Trinity was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to Bell. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 466th, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 178th).

Meanwhile, Keller Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 77-52 to Byron Nelson.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Keller Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-23.

Trinity beat Keller Central 59-47 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
