Academic Magnet had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Green Sea Floyds Trojans 8-1. It was an even better day for Sophia Benich as she scored three goals for her team.

Academic Magnet pushed their record up to 14-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those three games. As for Green Sea Floyds, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
