Basketball Recap: Jefferson Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Jefferson had won four straight home games and Cameron Toney did her part to make it five on Thursday. The Jefferson Panthers blew past the Broadwater Bulldogs 58-38 thanks in part to Toney, who went 8-for-14 en route to 23 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Ryian Eveland, who put up six points and eight rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played.

Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points over those games. As for Broadwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Jefferson won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Manhattan Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59 points per game this season. Broadwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
