Volleyball Recap: Davidson Fine Arts' Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Davidson Fine Arts had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Putnam County War Eagles. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the War Eagles, too.

Julika Cunningham paced Davidson Fine Arts' offense, picking up eight kills. Cunningham got some help from Jane Pennington and her 13 assists. Pennington was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The victory got Davidson Fine Arts back to even at 11-11. As for Putnam County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Davidson Fine Arts wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Alleluia Community on the 2nd. As for Putnam County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lake Oconee Academy on the 2nd.
