Soccer Recap: Providence Takes a Loss

Providence managed to keep up with Dutch Fork until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Panthers came up short against the Silver Foxes, falling 10-5. Providence have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Providence's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Dutch Fork, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Providence will take on Virginia Academy in a tournament on Wednesday. Providence's defense better be ready for this one: Virginia Academy have averaged an impressive 6.9 goals per game this season. As for Dutch Fork, they are taking a road trip to square off against Gilbert at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
