Basketball Recap: Unity Christian Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Lyon, Unity Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 62-51 victory over the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 40-35 win the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Unity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Unity Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-42 defeat against West Lyon on the 3rd. As for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, they will square off against George-Little Rock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
