Baseball Recap: Taylor Takes a Loss

If Taylor was feeling good fresh off their 14-0 takedown of Lake Mary Prep last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles on Thursday, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Austin Herman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their record now sits at 10-14.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Taylor will square off against Father Lopez at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will welcome Legacy Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
