Basketball Recap: Franklin Victorious

Franklin's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 49-44 W over the Pittsburg Panthers. The Tornadoes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Franklin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Pittsburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Franklin has already played their next matchup, an 80-67 defeat against Concord Christian on the 20th. As for Pittsburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 69-47 loss against Groveton on the 20th.
