            Softball Recap: Bluffton Tigers vs. Daleville Broncos        
        
		
        
        
            Bluffton extended their losing streak  to three  on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 5-11 in the process. They were two  runs away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   12-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Daleville Broncos. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  defeat the Tigers have suffered  since April 18th.
  Marly Drayer was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Tressa Renner, who  went 2-for-5 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
As for Daleville,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 10-3. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.5 runs over those games.
 On Daleville's side, they let  Miley Womack and  Lily Malone run wild. Womack  went 2-for-5 with two  RBI and one  double, while  Malone  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with three  runs and one  RBI. That's the most  runs  Malone has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  Valyn Pattengale, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Coming up, Bluffton will be playing in front of their home fans against Adams Central  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Flying Jets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.13  runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Daleville, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Pike  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
