Layton came out on top against Farmington on Friday thanks in part to Austin Pritchett's efforts. The Phoenix had no answer to Pritchett as he pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Pritchett also tossed a walk, which is notable because Layton is 4-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 6-9 otherwise.
