Morris Central hasn't had much luck against Cherry Valley-Springfield recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out to face off against the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. Morris Central will be strutting in after a victory while Cherry Valley-Springfield will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, Morris Central sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over SS Seward.

Meanwhile, Cherry Valley-Springfield fell victim to Charlotte Valley and their airtight defense on Saturday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0.

Cherry Valley-Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Morris Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
