Baseball Game Preview: Civic Memorial Eagles vs. Mascoutah Indians

For the second straight game, Civic Memorial will face off against Mascoutah. The Eagles will host the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Mascoutah hit Civic Memorial with a nine-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles came up short against the Indians, falling 11-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacob Flowers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Mascoutah has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
