Basketball Game Preview: Hesston Swathers vs. Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes

Hesston is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Sunrise Christian Academy is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Hesston Swathers will host the Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Hesston didn't have too much trouble with Smoky Valley as they won 54-37. Given the Swathers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Vikings are ranked 206th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sunrise Christian Academy meant business on Saturday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Knights squad that has allowed just 26.83 points per contest. Sunrise Christian Academy took their match with ease, bagging a 71-30 victory over Arkansas Christian Academy. The Buffaloes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Sunrise Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Hesston, their victory bumped their record up to 16-0.
