Soccer Game Preview: Rowe vs. Sharyland

Rowe is 1-9 against Sharyland since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Rattlers at 6:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Rowe came up short against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Sharyland had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 3-0 shutout. Considering Sharyland have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rowe's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-3. As for Sharyland, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.

Rowe might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Sharyland in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
