Basketball Game Preview: Bellingham Blackhawks vs. Holliston Panthers

Bellingham is 1-9 against Holliston since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bellingham Blackhawks will take on the Holliston Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Monday, Bellingham took a blow against Carver, falling 70-39.

Meanwhile, Holliston ended up a good deal behind Norwood on Friday and lost 59-44. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Mustangs are ranked ninth).

Holliston has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Bellingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

Bellingham beat Holliston 54-41 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bellingham since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
