Volleyball Game Preview: Moreno Valley Vikings vs. Paloma Valley Wildcats

The Moreno Valley Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Paloma Valley Wildcats at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Moreno Valley has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with seven straight defeats, while Paloma Valley will come in with four straight victories.

Moreno Valley lost 3-0 to Valley View on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Vikings haven't been shut out since back in March.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Valley View scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.

Paloma Valley not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th. They put the hurt on Citrus Hill with a sharp 3-0 win.

Paloma Valley never let Citrus Hill on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-20.

Paloma Valley's victory bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Moreno Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.
