Basketball Game Recap: Wauneta-Palisade vs. Hitchcock County

If the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos were expecting to get some payback for the 64-18 loss against the Hitchcock County Falcons when they previously met last month, then they were left disappointed. The contest between them last Friday was not particularly close, with Wauneta-Palisade falling 55-41. They haven't found any success against Hitchcock County since Jan. 19 of last year, this defeat making it three in a row.

This is the second loss in a row for the Broncos and nudges their record down to 8-10. The victory improved Hitchcock County's record to 9-6.

Wauneta-Palisade will take on Medicine Valley on Thursday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup. The Falcons will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Rawlins County. Unlike Hitchcock County, Rawlins County will be stumbling in off of a loss.
