Volleyball Game Preview: Desert Pines Jaguars vs. Cheyenne Desert Shields + How To Watch

Desert Pines hasn't had much luck against Cheyenne recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Jaguars will square off against the Desert Shields at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Desert Pines lost 3-0 to Cimarron-Memorial on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Cheyenne came up short against Bonanza on Monday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Desert Shields in their meetings with the Bengals: they've now lost four in a row.

Cheyenne started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

Desert Pines' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cheyenne, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Desert Pines might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Cheyenne in their previous matchup back in September of 2019. Can the Jaguars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
