Soccer Game Preview: Brookland vs. Robinson

The Brookland Bearcats will take on the Robinson Senators on Monday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Brookland sitting on four straight wins and Robinson on 19.

Brookland is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arkansas' top teams: Dardanelle, who was ranked 20th at the time (Brookland was ranked 21st). The Bearcats had just enough and edged out the Sand Lizards 2-1.

Meanwhile, Robinson kept a clean sheet against Episcopal on Saturday. They blew past the Wildcats 3-0. Robinson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 contests by three goals or more this season.

Robinson's victory bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Brookland, their win bumped their record up to 13-3-1.

Brookland came up short against Robinson when the teams last played back in March, falling 4-2. Can the Bearcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
