Volleyball Recap: Century Falls to Farmington in First Game of Season

Century had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Farmington Tigers. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-17, 25-15.

Despite the defeat, Century saw an underclassman step up: freshman Emma Greene had 17 digs and two aces.

The victory got Farmington back to even at 1-1.

Century didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Kasson-Mantorville on the 26th. As for Farmington, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Mayo on the 27th.
