Basketball Recap: Reedy Takes a Loss

Reedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 77-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lone Star Rangers. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Rangers from their previous meeting back in January.

Reedy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Lone Star, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Reedy Lions face off against the Walnut Grove Wildcats at 1:30 p.m. on December 28th. Walnut Grove will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Reedy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lone Star, they will take on North Garland in a tournament on Thursday. Lone Star knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully North Garland likes a good challenge.
