Baseball Game Preview: Annapolis Panthers vs. Old Mill Patriots

Annapolis is 0-10 against Old Mill since April of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Panthers will head out to challenge the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Annapolis has given up an average of 7.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Annapolis fell victim to Severna Park and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 14-0 to the Falcons.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Old Mill). Everything went their way against Meade on Friday as they made off with a 22-0 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Old Mill and bumps their season record up to 3-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Annapolis, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Annapolis couldn't quite get it done against Old Mill in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 3-0. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
