Baseball Recap: Somerset Berkley Regional's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Somerset Berkley Regional had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Case Cardinals. Considering the Raiders have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Liam Meehan was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and six RBI. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jayden Cruz, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Somerset Berkley Regional's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Case, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
