Volleyball Recap: Bellingham Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Bellingham hadn't done well against Squalicum recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bayhawks came out on top against the Storm by a score of 3-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Bayhawks' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Bellingham's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-5. As for Squalicum, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bellingham will square off against rival Mt. Baker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Squalicum is set to face off against their familiar foe Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
