Soccer Recap: Mira Loma Takes a Loss

Mira Loma and Roseville squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Mira Loma had to settle for second. They came up short against the Roseville Tigers, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Matadors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Mira Loma's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matchups. As for Roseville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Mira Loma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roseville, they have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against River Valley on the 21st.
