Basketball Recap: Naaman Forest Comes Up Short

Naaman Forest lost against Lakeview Centennial back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Naaman Forest Rangers were beaten by the Lakeview Centennial Patriots 56-19. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1223rd, while the Patriots are ranked 315th).

Naaman Forest dropped their record down to 2-21 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Lakeview Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

Naaman Forest will challenge Wylie East at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Wylie East has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lakeview Centennial, they will take on Rowlett at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
