Soccer Recap: Green River Takes a Loss

Green River lost against Kelly Walsh back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Wolves came up short against the Trojans, falling 9-3. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Green River were already down 6-2.

Brookelyn Phillips and Isa Vasco scored all three of Green River's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 39 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Green River and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Kelly Walsh, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Green River wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Star Valley on the 15th. Hopefully Kelly Walsh paid attention to Wolves' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on May 2.
