Volleyball Recap: Minerva's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Minerva had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They put the hurt on the Northwest Indians with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Minerva was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-18.

Becca Jackson paced Minerva's offense, picking up 17 kills. Jackson got some help from Addy Kocher and her 35 assists.

Minerva's record now sits at 12-9. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Looking ahead, Minerva will face off against Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th. As for Northwest, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Tuslaw on the 30th.
