Basketball Recap: Central Triumphs

Central posted their closest victory since December 13, 2024 on Thursday. They skirted past the Bleckley County Royals 44-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Despite the loss, Bleckley County still got an impressive performance from Nykez Farrow, who went 7-for-17 en route to 18 points and five boards. The matchup was Farrow's third in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kam'Ryn Everett, who posted six points and eight rebounds.

Central's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Bleckley County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.

Central has already played their next contest, a 71-57 defeat against Washington County on the 11th. As for Bleckley County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-46 victory against Academy for Classical Education on the 7th.
