Soccer Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Hillsboro and McClain have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Indians fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against McClain this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in September.

Hillsboro hit McClain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kamryn Asbury, Taylor Thoroman, and Kobie Miles.

Hillsboro now has a losing record of 7-8. As for McClain, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Hillsboro will venture away from home to face off against Peebles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McClain, they will head out to take on Eastern at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
