Bolivar put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lighthouse Christian Chargers 13-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Liberators have posted since April 22, 2024.

Gannon Young was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI and one run. Garretson Cook was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

Bolivar kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since the start of last season.

Bolivar's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lighthouse Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bolivar will challenge Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lighthouse Christian, they will head out to square off against Seymour at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
