Basketball Game Preview: Perry Central Commodores vs. Tell City Marksmen

The Perry Central Commodores will take on the Tell City Marksmen at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Perry Central will be strutting in after a victory while Tell City will be coming in after a defeat.

Perry Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 51-38 win over Pike Central.

Meanwhile, Tell City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Gibson Southern and fell 66-37. While losing is never fun, the Marksmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Titans are ranked 37th).

Perry Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Tell City, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Perry Central couldn't quite finish off Tell City when the teams last played back in January and fell 53-50. Can Perry Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
