Basketball Game Preview: Lake Belton Broncos vs. Rudder Rangers

Last Tuesday, Lake Belton didn't have quite enough to beat Gateway College Preparatory and fell 54-52.

Meanwhile, Rudder earned a 68-59 victory over Royal on Tuesday. Given the Rangers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 541st, while the Falcons are ranked 1144th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Belton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Rudder, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-4.
