Preview: Berryville Bobcats vs. Lincoln Wolves
Berryville is 0-7 against Lincoln since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Berryville Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lincoln Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Berryville had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Huntsville by a score of 20-12 on Friday. The victory was just what Berryville needed coming off of a 56-0 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, even though Gentry scored an imposing 34 points on Friday, Lincoln still came out on top. Lincoln took down Gentry 53-34. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
Kale Jones went supernova for Lincoln, rushing for 320 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 15.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 82 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Jace Birkes, who picked up 219 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Berryville's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Berryville took a serious blow against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, falling 49-13. Will Berryville have more luck at home instead of on the road?
