Baseball Recap: Alice Coyotes vs. La Joya Coyotes
Fans were treated to a battle of the Coyotes on Thursday. Alice skirted past La Joya 7-6.
Ale Asevedo made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
Asevedo wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Maddex Carrillo, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
