Softball Preview: Borah Lions vs. Centennial Patriots

Borah has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Centennial Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Borah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Borah is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Capital, who was ranked 13th in their home state at the time (Borah was ranked 12th). Borah came out on top against Capital by a score of 6-2 on Tuesday.

Megan Meracle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive pitching appearances.
