Soccer Game Preview: Cedar Creek vs. Navarro

The Cedar Creek Eagles will take on the Navarro Vikings at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Cedar Creek came up short against Anderson on Tuesday, falling 7-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Navarro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bastrop. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 508th, while the Bears are ranked 79th).

Navarro's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cedar Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
