Recap: Heritage Christian Patriots vs. West Allis Central Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brookfield Academy, the Heritage Christian Patriots were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They breezed by West Allis Central at home to the tune of 70-36. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-13.
Heritage Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Amanda Pike out in front who scored 22 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Pike has scored at least 25% of Heritage Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Bluhm, who scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds.
The victory got Heritage Christian back to even at 3-3. As for West Allis Central, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Heritage Christian has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Lake Country Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on December 13th. Lake Country Lutheran presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Heritage Christian in Wisconsin (Lake Country Lutheran is ranked 123rd, while Heritage Christian is ranked 293rd). West Allis Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face New Berlin Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. New Berlin Eisenhower has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 256 points over their last four matches.
