Baseball Recap: Southwest Covenant Finds Home Field Redemption Against Wayne

There's no place like home for Southwest Covenant, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wayne Bulldogs 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Patriots have posted since March 5, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Brewer Lee, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Beshears, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
