Softball Recap: Nyack Comes Up Short

Nyack was the 3-0 winner over Ardsley when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Hawks lost 10-2 to the Panthers on Monday. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nyack saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yelina Arias, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Nyack's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Ardsley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nyack will head out to square off against Sleepy Hollow at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ardsley, they will venture away from home to take on Tappan Zee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
