Basketball Game Preview: Windermere Prep Lakers vs. Jones Fightin' Tigers + How To Watch

The Windermere Prep Lakers will take on the Jones Fightin' Tigers in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Windermere Prep has given up an average of 56 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Windermere Prep beat Creekside 66-62. Given the Lakers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Knights are ranked 137th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Jones fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Orlando Christian Prep on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 61-54 to the Warriors. The Fightin' Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Windermere Prep will need to focus on slowing down Timothy Mack, one of several Jones players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 12 points. Damian Cohn was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Windermere Prep pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.3 points over those games. As for Jones, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
