Volleyball Recap: Jacksonville Takes a Loss

Jacksonville lost against Alexandria on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Cubs. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacksonville's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Alexandria, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Jacksonville and Alexandria will both be playing Glencoe the next time they take the court. The Valley Cubs will head out to face the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Golden Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
