Soccer Recap: Warrensburg Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Monday. Warrensburg fell just short of Smithton by a score of 2-1. Warrensburg was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Smithton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Warrensburg and nudges their season record down to 7-15-1. As for Smithton, their win bumped their record up to 8-10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Warrensburg will challenge Smith-Cotton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Smithton, they will venture away from home to challenge California at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
