Basketball Recap: Lake Creek Lions vs. Rudder Rangers
Lake Creek's game on Friday was all tied up 30-30 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 59-53 W over the Rudder Rangers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-49 back in December of 2024.

Lake Creek was led to victory by Holden Caltabiano and Jay Mcshan. Caltabiano posted 15 points, while Mcshan dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Mcshan is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Caden Puckett was another key player, putting up nine points.
Rudder lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Randon Cooks, who scored 16 points and five steals. Cooks continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Lake Creek is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-15 record this season.
