Clarendon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Everything went their way against Gruver as Clarendon made off with a 46-24 win. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 476th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, New Home humbled Sudan with a 94-34 victory. The Leopards have beaten the Hornets the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hornets has come to flipping the script.

Clarendon is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.5 points over those games. As for New Home, their victory bumped their record up to 25-7.
