Basketball Game Preview: Camden Blue Devils vs. Central Square Redhawks

The Camden Blue Devils and the Central Square Redhawks will round out the year against one another at at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. Camden will be strutting in after a victory while Central Square will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Camden needed a bit of extra time to put away Vernon-Verona-Sherrill. They walked away with a 59-50 win over the Red Devils. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Devils as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Central Square was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Oswego an easy 71-45 win.

Camden's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Central Square, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Camden was dealt a bruising 90-45 defeat at the hands of Central Square in their previous matchup back in February of 2015. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Camden was down 52-17.
