Basketball Recap: Zimmerman Comes Up Short

Zimmerman has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Monticello Magic. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Magic this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-61 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Monticello to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rhys Nebben, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Carson Deibele, who posted 20 points and five rebounds.

Zimmerman's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Monticello, their win was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-4.

As of now, neither Zimmerman nor Monticello have any future games scheduled.
